Step 1
Find your child
The class code comes from the school. The name is the one your child typed when they joined.
Step 2
Your texts

By saving you agree to receive these texts at this number. The teacher is told in every case, whether or not you are texted. Your number is stored encrypted and is used for nothing else. Reply STOP to any text, or come back here, to stop them.
What the tutor watches for: your child saying they are anxious, frightened, hopeless, or mentioning harm, bullying, or trouble at home. Frustration with a sum is not an alert. Nothing your child writes is sent to you; the text says only that the tutor noticed they seemed troubled and that the teacher has been told.
Step 3
Today's review
What your child worked on, how they seemed, what went well, what was hard, and what to practise next. Written from today's record with the tutor; it updates as the day goes on. What your child told the tutor in confidence stays with the teacher; you get the general picture.

The mathematics behind it
Before your child sees any reply, three separate checks read it, and a branch of mathematics called sheaf cohomology asks whether all three fit together. A reply goes out only when they do.
